Secret World of Arrietty

Edit Wow, thank you guys so much for the overflow of favorites! An overflow for me, anyway. I find it hard to go through and thank each and every one of you all the time but I'll thank who I can and hope this message suffices overall. I appreciate that you enjoy my fanart here!

So I watched the Secret World of Arrietty last Monday with my mom and it was amaaaa~zing! The animation was so beautiful. I loved the story and ammmg... I was actually never a fan of the Borrowers, so I was hoping that Miyazaki's version would be good enough to draw me in. And it was.

I went home that night thinking about it and started drawing this the next day. I've worked on it slowly over the past week and I am pleased with how it turned out.

I really loved Nina the fat cat.. And I think Spiller's crush on Arrietty was cute, and I really loved the interaction between Sean and Arrietty... friendship and no hint of hidden romance (imo).

I hope you guys like my homage to the movie! Yay!
